Expenditures on social payments to Crimean residents, having reached 24 billion rubles, increased by more than 1.7 times
Since the beginning of this year, almost 24 billion rubles have been allocated in the republic to finance social payments to certain categories of citizens, which exceeded last year’s figure by 1.7 times. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.
Unconditional financing of all accepted obligations for social support of certain categories of citizens occupies one of the central places in the budgetary policy of our republic. All provided payments for Crimeans are made monthly, on time and in full. This year, about 26 billion rubles have been allocated to finance expenses for social support of citizens, and to date more than 92% of planned assignments have already been financed. This confirms the desire of the Crimean government to ensure stability and confidence in the future for all citizens of the Republic of Crimea– noted Irina Kiviko.
As the chief financier of Crimea said, budget allocations were distributed as follows:

— for social payments to certain categories of citizens, including monthly and annual cash payments to WWII veterans, labor veterans, rehabilitated citizens and other categories of citizens, for the payment of assistance to low-income families, benefits for the purchase of solid fuel and liquefied gas — 13.4 billion rubles. (3.3 times, or 9.3 billion rubles higher than the 2024 figure). More than 300 thousand people are recipients of this support measure in the republic;
— for the payment of child benefits to a single mother, assistance to orphans and children without parental care, and other payments — more than 4.6 billion rubles. (by 226.1 million rubles, or 5% higher than last year’s figure);
— for payment of housing and communal services to certain categories of citizens, compensation for certain categories of citizens to pay contributions for major repairs of common property in an apartment building, as well as for compensation payments for preferential travel for certain categories of citizens on road, electric and railway transport — 4.2 billion rubles. (517.5 million rubles, or 14.2% more than last year);
— for the payment of monthly benefits in connection with the birth and upbringing of a child – 1.4 billion rubles. (49.5 million rubles, or 3.8% more than in 2024). The benefit amount is 50, 75 and 100% of the subsistence minimum;
— for social payments to unemployed citizens – 378.2 million rubles. (at the level of last year). The payment amount ranges from 1,764 to 15,044 rubles. About 12 thousand people received benefits;
— for a monthly cash payment assigned in the event of the birth of a third child or subsequent children before the child reaches the age of three years — 51.7 million rubles. The payment amount is 16,685 rubles. About 60 people receive monthly payments.
