FAS intends to check prices for eggs and milk on the eve of Easter

On the eve of Easter, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia will analyze prices for chicken eggs and drinking milk. This was reported in the press service of the department.

The FAS will analyze retail pricing for chicken eggs and drinking milk. Let us recall that earlier the service warned trade organizations against unjustified increases in prices for chicken eggs, including during the period of increased demand before Easterthe message says.

Department officials have already sent requests to the largest federal retail chains about prices for chicken eggs and milk. Prices will be analyzed in dynamics — for a week and a month, both in purchases and in retail.

If signs of violations of antimonopoly legislation are detected, the department will stop them by taking appropriate response measures, the press service clarified.

Previously reportedthat in Crimea they will check prices for bakery products made from wheat and rye-wheat flour.
