In the Krasnogvardeisky district of Crimea, employees of the State traffic inspectorate are checking into a fatal accident. According to the traffic police, the tragedy occurred on the evening of March 7 (at 19:32) on the Tavrida-Dzhankoy-Simferopol highway.
Near the village of Znamenka, Krasnogvardeisky district, the driver of a Ford Focus car, moving from Dzhankoy in the direction of Simferopol, hit a 52-year-old pedestrian who was crossing the roadway at an unspecified place. The woman died at the scene as a result of a traffic accident.— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
Traffic police officers were at the scene of the accident. The accident is under investigation and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
Witnesses and eyewitnesses of the given incident are established by policemen. Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate are asking everyone who has any information about this accident to report by phone on duty at 102 or 8 (36556) 55-780.
