Fooled around … In Sevastopol, a minor blockhead will be tried for a false report of a terrorist attack

In Sevastopol, the prosecutor’s office sent a criminal case to the court on the fact of giving a knowingly false report to minors about an act of terrorism. A young man born in 2007 is charged under Part 2 of Art. 207 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to the investigation, in October 2022, the juvenile accused, acting out of hooligan motives, using a computer program, sent several audio messages to the telephone number of the State Budgetary Educational Institution of the city of Sevastopol “Secondary School No. 23 named after B.A. Kuchera» about the allegedly impending explosion— reported in the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.
The preliminary investigation was carried out by the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol. The criminal case was sent for consideration on the merits to the justice of the peace of the Gagarinsky district of the city of Sevastopol. The punishment for the “naughty” is quite serious: a fine in the amount of five hundred thousand to seven hundred thousand rubles (then the parents “will be happy”), or imprisonment for a term of 3 to 5 years.
