On May 7, at 19:10, the Crisis Management Center received a message that in the area of the village of Sokolinoe on Mount Boyka, Bakhchisaray district, a man had lost his way and could not get out on his own. The help of lifeguards is required. The search for a tourist who got lost in the mountains of Crimea began immediately.
The search was complicated by adverse weather conditions (heavy fog). As a result, the tourist was found on May 8. He was taken to the nearest town. He did not need medical attention— reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
In total, 9 people and 2 pieces of equipment were involved in the rescue operation from the RSChS, of which from the Russian Emergencies Ministry: 4 people and 1 piece of equipment.
