«For the Defenders V2022» unites caring Crimeans and Sevastopol residents
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, congratulated and awarded letters of thanks to the volunteers of the Defenders V2022 movement the day before. According to him, back in March last year, the Sevastopol residents united in one chat to help our fighters in the NVO zone. More and more willing to help our soldiers joined the movement, including those from Dzhankoy and other cities of Crimea.

The main strength of the group is the women who weave nets every day, pour trench candles, prepare freeze-dried borscht, and sew things for the fighters. Over the time since the group was founded, the volunteers have independently produced more than 6,000 sq. m. meters of camouflage nets, 50 thousand servings of dry soups and borscht, volunteers baked tons of buns, muffins and pies. More than 18 thousand trench candles were poured. They sewed: about 1,200 «balaclavas», 1,600 «snoods», 350 raincoats, 300 «five-pointers», knitted hundreds of warm socks.
Understanding how much work these women do every day, you can definitely say that our fighters in Sevastopol have a reliable rear— said Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The governor thanked all the activists of the Defenders V2022 group — both Crimeans and Sevastopol residents, all caring citizens for their efforts and work in the name of Victory.
