Four Crimean projects were included in the finals of the XIV International Russian Event Awards

So, prove your superiority in the nomination «The best event in the field of industrial tourism» ahead of the Viva Lavanda farm in the village of Aromat, Bakhchisaray district. She presented her holiday to the jury Lavender harvest. The event, which has already become an annual event, takes place in July. Guests are invited to personally cut an aromatic plant from the farm’s fields, process it in a steam distillation apparatus and obtain their own essential oil. There will be food and dancing for participants.
In the nomination “The best accommodation facility for a tourist event” The former palace will make its presence known in the finals of the award Dulberand now a sanatorium of the same name in Greater Yalta. This is a multidisciplinary health facility on the first coastline, surrounded by a relict park. Since 2024, a museum has opened here with unique artifacts, documents and copies of objects from state cultural institutions, federal archives and private collections. The exhibits tell about members of the Romanov family who were under arrest in the palace in 1919: in fact, this place became their last home in Russia. The sanatorium has developed several of its own excursion programs.
In the nomination «Best tourism event in the field of culture and art» (among cities with a population of up to 100 thousand people) there are two candidates for victory from Crimea. This is a festival market «Say JAZZ!»which takes place on the territory of the south coast hotels, farms and cheese dairies of the peninsula, as well as in the resort Koktebel. The event provides guests with gastronomic and musical pleasures. Music lovers listen to live performances of jazz and rock and roll, dance, participate in creative master classes and get acquainted with the products of Crimean manufacturers.
Another Crimean project that has clearly declared itself is «Space Inside». Its author, Irina Andreeva, a resident of the village of astronomers Nauchny in the Bakhchisarai region, is reviving the cultural traditions of this special territory. It organizes exhibitions of artists and photographers, performances, concerts and poetry performances by talented artists in the locations of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory.
The international award in the field of event tourism, Russian Event Awards, was established in 2012 on the initiative of the chairman of the board of the PR agency FROS Region PR and the head of the event tourism committee of the RST, Gennady Shatalov, as an industry award awarded based on the results of an open competition of projects for achievements in the development of event tourism. Until 2022, it was held in the format of the National Award.
