Four people died and 30 were injured on Crimean roads in a week
In the period from November 17 to November 23, 26 road accidents were registered in the Republic of Crimea, in which four people died, 30 were injured of varying severity, including four minors— law enforcement officers clarify.
According to the relevant department, there were five accidents involving pedestrians, in which one person died and four more were injured.
Traffic police officers stopped cases of drunk driving 134 times, including 16 drivers who were repeatedly caught driving while intoxicated, for which criminal liability is provided.
The number of traffic accidents on the roads of Crimea remains significant. Since the beginning of the year in road accidents 155 people died and more than 1,000 were injured of varying severity, law enforcement officials previously reported.
