From now on, swimming in unauthorized places in Crimea will have to pay a fine of up to three thousand rubles.
During the meeting, the deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea adopted in the first reading the draft law “On Amendments to Article 3.12 of the Law of the Republic of Crimea “On Administrative Offenses in the Republic of Crimea”.
The draft law was introduced by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov and is aimed at improving the legislative regulation of the issues of bringing to administrative responsibility persons guilty of committing administrative offenses in the field of safety at water bodies— specified in the press service of the Crimean parliament.
The document proposes to establish that swimming in places where safety signs on water bodies “Swimming is prohibited” (indicating the boundaries in meters) are displayed, entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of from one thousand to three thousand rubles.
The State Council of the Republic of Crimea believes that the adoption of the bill will reduce the number of violations related to ensuring the safety of people at water bodies, reduce mortality and injuries on the water.
