The head of the Duma faction “A Just Russia” Sergei Mironov announced a huge number of appeals from citizens who are outraged by the cosmic amounts in utility bills. The parliamentarian announced this today at a press approach before the start of the plenary session of the chamber.

This morning I received a letter from a pensioner, her pension is 22 thousand rubles, and the payment came from the utilities for 12 thousand for a two-room apartment. Now she will pay according to the receipt, and there will be 10 thousand left for everything — food, medicine, etc. And similar appeals are coming from all over the country.,” the deputy emphasized.

Mironov recalled that officially tariffs for housing and communal services were supposed to increase from January 1 by 1.7% due to the new VAT rate, but in fact they jumped two to three times.

Gentlemen, are you stunned? You live in mansions, swim in pools, everything is fine with you. What are you doing?! Why are you driving people into a corner?! Do you want them to take to the streets, and the President will thank you for it? You can’t do this to our people! They support the SVO, support the President, and they receive such gifts in the form of housing and communal services tariffs! – noted the politician.

According to the leader of A Just Russia, in order to restore order in the industry, it is necessary to conduct an audit of the housing and communal services and transfer it to state ownership.

Private traders will never do anything — they will only send tickets, it is unclear what to collect money for and it is unclear what to spend it on. It must be state-owned, otherwise there will be no point! – Mironov concluded.
