On Children’s Day in Sevastopol, the third working semester of the Governor’s school labor teams started. From June to August, 2115 schoolchildren will go to their first job in their lives. Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev handed vouchers to the commanders of the detachments and congratulated all the children on the holiday.
Three years ago, when I proposed the idea of forming school teams, I did not expect such a response. I am very glad that it was possible to establish a new tradition and give you the opportunity to develop, get your first work experience and, most importantly, benefit your hometown. All summer wonderful curators from student construction teams will be with you. To achieve something in life, you need to work hard and hard, the most important thing is to get to work. The number of school labor teams is increasing every year. Last year, 50 detachments were formed, this year there are already 69.
Teenagers will perform simple labor that does not harm their health. Members of labor groups will clean squares and parks, participate in the organization and holding of physical culture and sports events, work as couriers and clerks, help with coordination in cinemas, improve and clean schools, and help with the repair of literature in libraries.
Members of the Sevastopol regional branch of the youth All-Russian public organization «Russian Student Teams» will coordinate the activities of the governor’s school labor teams. As part of the project, 50 curators were employed during the summer period.
