GU EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Crimea: Church-chapel of the icon of the Mother of God «Burning Bush» — 15 years

May 22 marks 15 years since the consecration of the Temple-chapel in the name of the icon of the Mother of God «Burning Bush». It is located on the territory of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
The temple-chapel was erected in 2007 on the initiative of the Crimean rescuers in memory of the dead liquidators of the Chernobyl disaster and named in the name of the icon of the Mother of God «Burning Bush». This is one of the most ancient icons, which is the protector of all rescuers and firefighters. People also pray to this icon to protect their home, themselves and loved ones from various natural disasters and catastrophes. The temple was consecrated by Metropolitan Lazar of Simferopol and Crimea on May 22, 2007.
In 2017, the icon painter Igor Klimov from Moscow presented the church-chapel with the icon of the Mother of God «The Burning Bush», painted by him. In 2018, the ceremony of lighting the bells and the belfry took place. It was installed on the territory of the temple-chapel with donations from Crimean rescuers and parishioners.— in the emergency department.
On the days of major Orthodox holidays, divine services are held here. They are performed by the rector of the temple, head of the military department of the Crimean Metropolis, Archpriest Dmitry Krotkov.
