Early in the morning on January 30 in Simferopol there was a — on the move, the shuttle bus No. 30 (Fonty — Svoboda) caught fire. The incident happened on Victory Avenue near 51st Army Street. Fortunately, there were no passengers on the bus. Today the results of the checks of the carrier became known. By and large, an accident (the bus was in good order before entering the line) revealed systemic violations.
It was established that according to the information in the log of the pre-trip inspection of vehicles, the bus passed the technical inspection, no malfunctions were found.
The audit revealed violations of the waybill maintenance, pre-trip medical examination of drivers, training of drivers, improper analysis of accidents involving buses owned by the company, as well as incomplete equipping of buses with video monitoring systems— reported in the Crimean prosecutor’s office.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Simferopol made a submission to the director of the enterprise «Goravtotrans», which is under consideration. In relation to the deputy director of the enterprise, an administrative offense case was initiated under Part 3 of Art. 14.1.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (carrying out entrepreneurial activities in the field of transport in violation of the conditions stipulated by the license). The fine under this article (for legal entities) is serious — up to 100 thousand rubles.
