Dear residents of Sevastopol!

On February 23, we celebrate a double holiday — Defender of the Fatherland Day and People’s Will Day. This is the day of real Sevastopol residents: strong men and women who faithfully serve their Fatherland.

Every Sevastopol family knows the value of a word once given. They know what fidelity to duty means and that an oath is a life credo, a civic position — to always be responsible for the future of their land: on which they themselves grew up, for which our grandfathers fought, on which we are now raising our children.

Sevastopol showed this strength of spirit in 2014; the worthy sons of the Hero City are now showing this strength of spirit at the forefront of the Northern Military District.

Today all our worries, hopes and prayers are for those in the service.
