Head of Crimea: “Today we have formed 380 unarme detachments, and the number of Unarmers — 6.5 thousand”

Crimea is confidently moving forward in this direction. Today we have formed 380 Youth Army detachments, and the number of Youth Army members reaches 6.5 thousand. The movement in the republic is fully provided with financial resources and material resources. At the same time, we need to continue to work on attracting children to the ranks of the Youth Army, distract them from the Internet and direct their energy in the right direction. Our youth passed the test of the Crimean spring and retain this spirit within themselves; we just need to push them, help them decide in life. I am sure that with due attention on our part we will succeedsaid the Head of Crimea.
Sergei Aksyonov also emphasized the importance of the practical component in the training of Youth Army members.
It is necessary to give preference to practice so that in the future the Young Army members can effectively apply the acquired knowledge. At the same time, we must remember that “Youth Army” is not just leisure, but a way of life. That is, the guys choose their path in life while still in school. Therefore, of course, members of the Youth Army should be entitled to certain benefits when entering military or law enforcement universities, – says the Head of the Republic.
Sergei Aksyonov thanked Vladislav Golovin for the fruitful cooperation and expressed confidence that through joint efforts all military-patriotic projects will be successfully implemented.
In turn, Vladislav Golovin highly appreciated the activities of the Yunarmiya in Crimea, noting the interest of young Crimeans. The Hero of Russia thanked the Government of the Republic of Crimea for supporting the movement and the great attention paid in the republic to the development and education of youth.
During the event, the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea Valentina Lavrik, the Chairman of the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea Alexey Zinchenko, and others made reports on the work of the “Youth Army” in the republic.
In addition, a ceremony was held to sign a cooperation agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea and the All-Russian children’s and youth military-patriotic public movement «Yunarmia».
The document defines different areas of partnership: from the introduction of new methods of patriotic education to the implementation of major projects and events aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, the development of physical education, military-applied and other sports among young people.
