The Department of Education and Science of Sevastopol conducted certification of the heads of educational organizations. School directors and heads of kindergartens have been tested and defended management projects aimed at improving the quality of the educational process.
Certification was subject to managers whose employment contract expires this year. An effective innovation was introduced into the procedure itself — the public defense of management projects. Each leader presented his experience, his vision of the further development trajectory of the institution for the next five years. Others were able to hear colleagues and borrow something for themselves , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the acting. At the defense of management projects, leaders also spoke about the achievements of their educational institutions, teachers, victories in regional and all-Russian competitions, talented students, reported on problems and methods for their elimination.
Each director set goals — to improve the quality of education, strengthen the educational component, attract new resources, develop networking, create conditions for the development of additional education for children and the children’s movement, diversify the forms of interaction with parent committees, use digital technologies. It was very useful for school principals to hear from the heads of kindergartens and vice versa. And here ideas for joint activities were immediately born. This is the main result — the desire and readiness for cooperation, further development in step with the times , — notes Larisa Sulima.
Testing took place on the following topics: «State policy in the field of education», «Legal foundations of management», «Educational technologies», «Ensuring the safety of the educational process».
Professional certification is always a difficult challenge and test. But this challenge is an incentive for the leader to get together, sum up all the forces, achievements and results, and correct the development path of the institution for the next years. The certification was successful and gave its fruits and an impetus to development: this is definitely a huge new experience, a great contribution to self-improvement, an opportunity to listen to the opinions of experts and more experienced colleagues , — says the director of gymnasium No. 5 Vadim Zubov.
In total, 20 directors of educational organizations took part in the certification — these are schools No. 11, 14, 17, 18, 14, 20, 29, 20, 42, 50, 52, 59, gymnasium No. 5, Educational Center. V. D. Revyakina, as well as heads of preschool educational institutions No. 3, 16, 20, 28, 132, «Watercolor». By a collegial decision of the commission, the leaders were certified for five years.
