Hero of Russia Vladimir Manokhin was appointed Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Crimea

Sergei Aksyonov noted that Hero of Russia Vladimir Manokhin is a participant in the federal program “Time of Heroes,” developed on behalf of President Vladimir Putin.

At the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Aleksandrovich will provide control over the development of Paralympic and Deaflympic sports in the republic, take part in the implementation of state policy in the field of development of adaptive sports and other areas. I am confident that the leadership qualities demonstrated at the front will help him build effective work in his new position,” said the Head of the Republic and wished the Hero of Russia success in his work.

REFERENCE. Vladimir Manokhin has been a participant in the special military operation since the fall of 2022. In the summer of 2024, together with other fighters, he managed to take positions near the village of Krynki, Kherson region and hold them for three weeks. As a battalion commander, he continued to lead, despite his injuries, and hold back enemy attacks, for which he was awarded the high title of Hero of Russia. Also awarded the Order of Courage, medals “For Courage” and Suvorov.
