«History of my city»: registration is underway for a competition of game projects about the history of Sevastopol

Registration for the Regional competition of game projects «History of my city» based on virtual reality technology 90VR has started. Only Sevastopol schoolchildren from the 3rd to 11-th grade, together with their mentors, can participate in the competition. Their task: to make an interesting game project about the beloved hero city of Sevastopol.

The team is registered by the mentor. As soon as the composition of the participants is determined, you need to fill out the form: https://vk.cc/cgUC8J. Next, the mentor creates an account on the competition website mysevastopol.panoquiz.ru. All games are built on the PanoQUIZ platform. The resource has already been tested as part of the educational process in the Quantorium children’s technopark, 70 educational institutions from 40 cities of the country, as well as in the children’s centers «Eaglet» and «Artek». The organizers held several educational seminars for school teachers to get acquainted with the platform, in addition, detailed instructions for creating game projects have been developed, so anyone can easily understand the system , the organizers note.

Ready-made projects of schoolchildren can be used in the lessons of history and Sevastopol studies, as well as extracurricular activities in local history.

Registration of teams for the competition of game projects «The History of My City», supported by the Presidential Grants Fund, will last until October.

According to the results of the competition, not only schoolchildren, but also mentors are awarded. In addition, all teachers who take part in the History of My City competition will receive a free account for working with the PanoQUIZ platform for a period of 1 year with the possibility of a free renewal.
