Housing in debt: since the beginning of the year, RNCB has issued more than 1,000 mortgage loans

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Since the beginning of 2023, the RNKB Bank has issued more than 1,000 loans for the purchase of housing in the amount of more than 4 billion rubles, of which about 700 million rubles have been issued under state mortgage programs with a preferential interest rate. These figures are in line with the figures for the same period last year. The average mortgage loan check at the beginning of the year amounted to 3.8 million rubles, which is 20% higher than last year.

Residents of the Russian mainland are showing increasing interest in the RNKB remote mortgage and are purchasing housing in the Crimea without a visit to the peninsula. Since the launch of remote mortgage in December 2021, the bank has remotely issued mortgage loans to residents of different regions of Russia in the amount of over RUB 600 million.

Recall that the bank is a member of the programs “Mortgage with state support”, “Family mortgage”, “Rural mortgage”, “IT-mortgage”, within which you can get a loan at a preferential interest rate. At the same time, if the client purchases an apartment in housing complexes that are being built with the participation of RNKB project financing, then the rate is reduced by another 1%.

We note a stable demand for the purchase of new housing, including individual housing construction, and a rather high client activity for the beginning of the year, — says Nikolai Bilan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the RNKB. — Thanks to the bank’s active interaction with developers, as well as the implementation of government support programs, thousands of families were able to improve their living conditions.

In 2022, about 70% of all mortgage loans for new buildings were issued by the bank under state mortgage lending support programs, of which more than half were under the state-supported mortgage program. The average age of the borrower is 38 years, most often one-room and two-room apartments are purchased.
