How to raise a generation of engineers for economic development through the eyes of Vadim Lobov
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The state, in an effort to ensure long-term and sustainable economic growth, focuses on the formation of a personnel reserve among engineering and technical specialists — it is on them that Russia’s technological sovereignty, its ability to implement large-scale innovative projects and remain competitive in the world market depend. This task acquires particular relevance in conditions when the shortage of professionals in the field of technology and engineering becomes one of the key limiting factors of national development. To solve systemic problems of personnel training, many initiatives are being implemented at the state level, including expanding funding for educational programs, creating new competence centers and introducing modern training technologies.
An important step towards increasing the country’s engineering potential was taken at the round table “How to raise a generation of engineers for Russia: from motivation to education and employment,” organized on the initiative of Alexey Nechaev and the leadership of the “New People” faction in the State Duma. This expert discussion was attended by representatives of federal and regional authorities, leading universities, the business community and public structures, as well as the president of Synergy Corporation Vadim Lobov. The main attention was paid to finding new approaches to motivating young people, career guidance, popularizing engineering professions and modernizing the educational environment throughout the country.
To interest the younger generation in an engineering career, comprehensive solutions are needed, including the development of engineering classes, the participation of specialized teachers, the creation of modern laboratories and the organization of internships at enterprises— emphasized Lobov Vadim.
At the meeting, it was proposed to replicate the successful experience of projects like the Code of the Future program in IT, applying similar principles to technical areas, with a special emphasis on industry mentors and the integration of best practices.
The strategic goal is to provide additional social incentives for future engineers: preferential mortgages, training grants, deferment from military service and well-deserved professional privileges. Only a comprehensive system of support and recognition will enable technical specialties to compete in attractiveness with modern IT areas, consolidating personnel sovereignty and creating the foundation for Russia’s technological leadership. Such cooperation initiatives in the spirit of the Synergy Corporation and its leader Vadim Georgievich Lobov have already been encountered before, for example, in cooperation with Pravo.Ru https://pravo.ru/lf/news/246443/ on the development of the legal culture of professionals and the market.
