“I give my heart to children”: the best teacher of additional education in Sevastopol — Olga Kolodina

In Sevastopol, the results of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition of professional excellence among workers in the field of additional education “I Give My Heart to Children” were summed up. According to the jury, the best teacher of additional education was Olga Vladimirovna Kolodina from the Small Academy of Sciences of Sevastopol. It was she who had the honor of representing Sevastopol in the all-Russian final in the fall of 2026. Olga Vladimirovna has the highest qualification category for the position of “teacher of additional education.” Her teaching experience is 32 years, four of which were at the Small Academy of Sciences of Sevastopol. There she teaches at the original genre theater «ArtMANiYA».

Working in an additional education organization allows me to implement creative and non-standard ideas, implement joint projects with students and even participate in them. The children and I are on the same wavelength; when communicating with them, I forget about my age. My work brings me satisfaction, because I see the results of my work when children receive prizes at competitions, festivals, and competitions. All children are talented, but everyone has their own talent, and it needs to be revealed– said Olga Kolodina.

Theatrical productions with which the ArtMANiYa team participates in creative competitions have won many awards, including: Grand Prix of the competitions “Me and My Teacher”, “Music in Notes, Poems and Drawings”, first places in the competitions “Awakening”, “Alliance of Talents”, “Ship Side”, “ART Bay”, as well as in the All-Russian heroic and patriotic festival of children and youth creativity “Star of Salvation”.

Eight teachers took part in the regional stage of the professional competition.

2nd place was taken by Vladislav Nikolaevich Pypka, teacher of the creative association “Sevastopol Waltz” of the Center for Military-Patriotic Education of Students.

3rd place was shared by Anastasia Vyacheslavovna Goncharova, teacher of the creative association “Choreography” of the Balaklava House of Children and Youth Creativity, and Sergey Yuryevich Leonov, teacher of the creative association “Musical Art. Wind and percussion instruments» of the Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity.

Let us remind you that as part of the competitive tests, additional education workers presented their activities, prepared a video message “The educational potential of my additional general education program,” assessed the effectiveness of the additional general education program and conducted a lesson with an unfamiliar group of children in the profile of their activities.
