“I LOVE RUSSIA-2026”: Crimean students represented the republic at the All-Russian Championship

As part of the festival program, the final of the X All-Russian competition for the development of foreign language competencies of children and youth was held. At the correspondence stage, the organizers reviewed more than 400 applications from 52 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Based on the results of the qualifying tests, 67 competitive works from 43 regions of the country reached the finals in St. Petersburg.

3 teams representing the Republic of Crimea took part in the final stage of the championship. Participants from Bakhchisarai, Feodosia and Simferopol demonstrated a high level of foreign language proficiency.

Based on the results of competitive tests, all 3 teams from Crimea won prizes. Maria and Ekaterina Kutashev, students of the Simferopol gymnasium, were recognized as the absolute winners of the competition and were awarded the Grand Prix. Philip Stepanyuk and Zlata Dyachkova from Feodosia won gold, and the representative from Bakhchisarai Dmitry Lukashenko received a bronze award.

The achievements of Crimean schoolchildren have become clear evidence of the high quality of education and determination of the younger generation. Success at the All-Russian level not only confirms their individual talents, but also reflects the systematic work of teachers and parents aimed at the comprehensive development of children — noted the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea Valentina Lavrik.
