Igor Chemodanov was appointed chief physician of the Semashko Hospital in Simferopol
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea confirms that from 02/02/2026 the position of chief physician of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Republican Clinical Hospital named after. N.A. Semashko» is occupied by Chemodanov Igor Gennadievichthe message says.
Igor Chemodanov was born in the village of Lenino (Crimea) into a family of medical workers. Has two higher educations. In 1993-1999 he studied at the Crimean State Medical University named after S.I. Georgievsky (now the Medical Academy named after S.I. Georgievsky of the Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky). In 2004 he graduated from the Kharkov Regional Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine with a degree in public administration.
From 1999 to 2001, he completed an internship in the general surgical department of the territorial medical association No. 1 in Kerch. In 2001-2006, he worked at the Republican Clinical Hospital named after N. A. Semashko in Simferopol, specializing as a vascular surgeon in the department of cardiovascular surgery.
From 2006 to 2010, Igor Chemodanov held the position of deputy chief physician for surgical care at Simferopol City Hospital No. 6 (now the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Simferopol Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care No. 6”). Since 2010 — chief physician of the state budgetary healthcare institution of the Republic of Crimea «Blood Center».
On July 11, 2019, he was appointed Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea. In September 2020, he was relieved of his duties. Afterwards he became the chief physician of the Crimean Blood Center.
