According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, in Kerch, facts of illegal activities were revealed by a private enterprise that provided services for refueling vehicles of individuals and legal entities with propane natural gas. Among the suspects were the 37-year-old founder of the enterprise and the 68-year-old chief mechanic.
As a result of activities carried out jointly with employees of the regional FSB, it was established that an illegal gas filling station had been operating in the city of Kerch since April 2021. Investigators found that the gas accumulator equipment, consisting of a block of gas accumulators of 20 cylinders connected by connecting hose sleeves, which was used to refuel vehicles, does not meet the requirements of Federal norms and rules in the field of industrial safety. Experts have identified damage to the body of the cylinders, as well as cracks in the connecting sleeves. According to the conclusion of experts, fractures, potholes and other malfunctions create a real danger and threat to the life and health of the consumer.— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
The Investigative Committee is also checking. We are talking about the initiation of a criminal case on the fact of the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements (paragraph «a» part 2 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
At present, the activity of the automobile gas filling station on Chkalova Street is suspended. Investigative actions are being carried out, a number of examinations have been appointed in order to obtain all the necessary information as part of the investigation of the criminal case— noted in the Sledkom.
