Two residents of the Bakhchisaray district will be held accountable under the law for organizing an illegal migration channel. This was reported by the press service of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. According to law enforcement officials, the defendants found foreigners who wanted to work illegally on the territory of the peninsula, found housing for them and recruited them to work on construction sites in the Saki and Belogorsky districts.
The investigative department of the FSB has opened a criminal case against these persons,” the department stated.
For organizing the illegal stay of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, the defendants face up to ten years in prison.
