According to the minister, in recent years, the medical examination program has been consistently expanding, including new diagnostic methods and making it possible to identify pathologies in the early stages in order to timely prescribe preventive measures and control chronic diseases.

For example, this year the reproductive health examination for women was supplemented with research for the human papillomavirus, which can lead to infertility or cancer. Also, work is currently underway to introduce new research in medical organizations aimed at improving the quality of identifying the risks of cardiovascular diseases, preventing heart attacks, strokes, and atherosclerosis— said Alexey Natarov.
