A three-year-old girl and the driver were injured in an accident in the Krasnogvardeisky district of Crimea. This was reported by the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs. The accident occurred at about 8 a.m. on Thursday on the Dzhankoy – Gvardeyskoye highway. It has been previously established that the female driver of the Lada Kalina did not take the weather conditions into account and drove off the road at speed. The car fell into an irrigation canal and overturned.
As a result of the accident, the driver and her three-year-old passenger, a girl born in 2022, received bodily injuries and were taken to a medical facility— law enforcement officers specified.
As the Crimean prosecutor’s office added, the child was in a restraining chair. Experts are checking what happened and establishing all the circumstances of the accident.
The prosecutor’s office is monitoring the progress of the investigation into the circumstances of the traffic accident in the Krasnogvardeisky district, the supervisory agency added.
