In Crimea, a car was confiscated from a malicious violator of traffic rules in court

In Crimea, the Pervomaisky District Court delivered a verdict in a criminal case against a local resident. He was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a vehicle by a person in a state of intoxication, subjected to administrative punishment for failure to comply with the legal requirement of an authorized official to undergo a medical examination for intoxication).
It was established that the convict, who had previously been brought to administrative responsibility for driving while intoxicated, in November last year was again driving his car VAZ 21063 while intoxicatedthe prosecutor’s office said.
The court, taking into account the position of the public prosecutor, sentenced the guilty person to 200 hours of compulsory labor with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to driving all types of vehicles for a period of 1.5 years, with the confiscation of the VAZ 21063 car belonging to the convicted person to the state. The verdict did not enter into force.
