In Crimea, a drug courier with five kilograms of «synthetics» for sale was detained

In Crimea, the police stopped the illegal activities of a 47-year-old resident of Yalta. The man came to the outskirts of one of the villages in order to equip caches with drugs in the forest belt, where he was detained by police officers.

The suspect explained that he took the banned substances with an approximate weight of 5 kg at the direction of the curator in the Saratov region. On the way to the Crimea in the territories of other subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as in Sevastopol and the Simferopol region, he managed to decompose about 2.5 kg of “synthetics” into hiding places. The police prevented him from selling the rest.

During inspections of the area and the detainee’s personal car, investigators found and seized about 2.5 kg of narcotic substances. According to the results of the investigation, the seized turned out to be N-methylephedron. According to the data from the correspondence with the curator, a map of bookmarks made by him was compiled in the citizen’s mobile device. The drug dealer is arrested. The investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Simferopol District initiated a criminal case against the suspect on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 5 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The attacker faces 15 to 20 years in prison.
