In Crimea, the prosecutor’s office of the Nizhnegorsky district sent a criminal case to the court about a traffic accident in which a family with three children suffered. A 54-year-old local resident is accused of committing a crime under paragraph «a» part 2 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules of the road, negligently entailing the infliction of serious harm to human health, committed by a person in a state of alcoholic intoxication).

On March 18 of this year, at night, a driver, being in a state of intoxication, moving along the road in the village of Yemelyanovka, Nizhnegorsky district, along Centralnaya Street, hit a family with three young children who were walking along the edge of the roadway in the direction of the car. The prosecutor’s office sent the criminal case with the approved indictment to the Nizhnegorsk District Court for consideration on the merits. The violator faces imprisonment for a term of 3 to 7 years.
