In Crimea, an additional list for the nationalization of property is determined

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The fact that an additional list for the nationalization of the property of Ukrainian oligarchs in Crimea will be prepared by the end of March, said the head of the region, Sergei Aksyonov. According to him, all objects are now being checked — more than half a thousand of them were counted in total.

A thorough check is underway so that conscientious citizens of the Russian Federation or citizens of Ukraine who do not take an aggressive position directly towards the Russian Federation in the public field do not fall under the process. And I will find a way, if it doesn’t work out “on the forehead”, to make sure that they all work in another state, let them go where they like— quotes the words of Aksenov «RIA News».

On February 3, the speaker of the State Council of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov, announced that the deputies adopted a resolution on the nationalization of the property of Ukrainian businessmen. The list includes about 500 objects related to various enterprises and banks, tourist and sports infrastructure. Land plots owned by Ukrainian oligarchs Rinat Akhmetov and Igor Kolomoisky were also nationalized.

On the same day, Aksyonov announced that the income from the nationalization of property in Crimea would go to support the participants in the special military operation (SVO).

Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a special operation to protect the Donbass, whose residents refused to recognize the results of the 2014 coup d’état in Ukraine. The decision to hold it was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by Ukrainian troops.
