In Crimea, Constitution Day of the Russian Federation was celebrated by presenting awards and passports to young residents of the peninsula
Addressing those present, Sergei Aksenov emphasized that the Constitution is the legal basis for the sovereignty, unity and development of our country, the foundation of social harmony and stability.
For Crimeans, every public holiday, symbolizing the stability of the Russian state system, is of enormous importance and once again reminds us that Russia is our home. And today, on Constitution Day, I want to say a huge thank you to the people of Crimea for everything you do, for the support of the President and members of the Northern Military District, for consolidation in a difficult period for Crimea. Thanks to unity, you and I have gone through these years quite successfully. And today, in a difficult situation, the republic is fulfilling the tasks set by the President and solving problems that concern our citizenssaid the Head of Crimea.
During the event, awards were presented: Certificate of Honor of the President of the Russian Federation, medals “For Help and Mercy”, Order “For Fidelity to Duty”, medal “For Distinction in Labor”, Certificates of Honor from the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Gratitude from the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Distinctive insignia “Watch from the Head of the Republic of Crimea”, Certificates of Honor from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea. Passports were also presented to young citizens of the Russian Federation.
