Today in the Crimea, on the territory of the Evpatoria elevator, employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea conducted fire-tactical exercises.

Their goal is to work out the actions of all emergency services in case of fire at the facilities of the agro-industrial complex. Such fire-tactical exercises make it possible to identify and correct fire safety deficiencies and work out the algorithm in the event of a real emergency at such facilities. The most fire hazardous area is the storage of raw materials. In the event of grain ignition, strong smoke and a high speed of flame propagation are possible. In this case, the grain can ignite spontaneously.the emergency department said.

According to the plan of the exercises, the fire broke out in the elevator. The fire was discovered by the facility staff, who immediately reported the incident to the fire brigade.

On alarm, 8 pieces of equipment and 32 personnel went to the scene. Upon arrival at the place of the simulated fire, they carried out the necessary actions to extinguish the fire: they installed cars on fire hydrants, laid trunk lines, fired trunks to extinguish the simulated fire and protect adjacent structures.
