In Crimea, operatives prevented the sale of almost 3 kg of drugs by a resident of Simferopol

Employees of the Department for Drug Control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, together with employees of the OKON MO of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «Saksky», stopped the crime in the field of drug trafficking and seized about 3 kilograms of «synthetics». Operatives detained a 23-year-old resident of Simferopol with no previous convictions in a forest near one of the villages of the Saki district. He arrived in his car from the Simferopol region to make bookmarks, and later to transfer the coordinates for the contactless sale of criminal goods.
The police recovered from the hiding places and the detainee’s car about 1.5 kilograms of «synthetics», packaged in dozens of bundles. Approximately the same amount of drug powder was seized during a search at the place of residence of the pawnbroker. A study of the seized materials showed that among the prohibited substances were mephedrone, N-methylephedron and marijuana. As the suspect explained, he acquired the drugs through a “shadow” group in the messenger with the aim of further selling them in a contactless way and making a profit.— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
A criminal case was initiated against the man on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The person involved was chosen a measure of restraint in the form of detention.
