In Crimea, rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conduct raids on places of active recreation

CrimeaPRESS reports:

With the advent of hot weather in Crimea, the risk of fires increases, the main cause of which is human negligence and irresponsibility.

An abandoned burning match, an unextinguished cigarette begin to smolder, and then turn into a full-fledged forest fire. You can often see how the forest is littered with bottles and glass fragments left by negligent citizens. In sunny weather, these fragments focus the sun’s rays like incendiary lenses, which can cause a natural fire.— say the Crimean rescuers.

Another raid to prevent fires in the ecosystem in places of recreation for citizens was carried out by employees of the Feodosia Supervisory Department together with representatives of the Ministry of Ecology in the landscape and recreational park «Quiet Bay». In eastern Crimea, this is one of the most popular holiday destinations.

The inspectors held explanatory conversations with citizens, talked about how important it is to be attentive and careful while being in nature, warned about the measures of administrative responsibility of citizens for violating fire safety rules. Particular attention was paid to the readiness of the administration of the recreational park for the safe passage of the fire season of 2023— reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
