In Crimea, the driver responsible for the accident in which people were injured will be judged

The prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea approved the indictment in a criminal case against a local resident. He is accused of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation by a person driving a car of the rules of the road or the operation of vehicles, which negligently entailed the infliction of grievous harm to human health).

According to the investigation, on March 18, 2022, the accused, driving a GAC ​​GS8 car, was moving along the Grushevka-Sudak highway. Having entered the lane intended for oncoming traffic, the car driven by the defendant collided with a KIA SORENTO car. As a result of a traffic accident, the driver of the KIA SORENTO and the passenger of the GAC GS8 were injured, resulting in serious bodily harmthe prosecutor’s office said.

With the approved indictment, the criminal case will soon be sent to the Sudak city court for consideration on the merits.
