The investigating authorities are accused of eight episodes of misappropriation and embezzlement of other people’s property, three episodes of forgery and three episodes of taking bribes for illegal actions.
The Investigation Department for the Simferopol District established that in the period from November 2019, the then-acting head fictitiously employed relatives of the village council employees to clean up the territory. This work was not carried out by them, however, the chief accountant of the administration, which was also involved in illegal activities, transferred funds to their accounts, cashed and transferred to the head. Thus, she stole entrusted budgetary funds in the amount of more than 550 thousand rubles.— reported in the Investigative Committee.
It was also established that for bribes in the amount of 25,000 rubles, the head released three convicts from correctional labor, who were sent for this purpose by the Federal Penitentiary Service to the administration of a rural settlement, including deliberately false information about serving their sentences in the timesheets.
During the investigation of the criminal case, the investigator assessed the actions of the accomplices of the criminal scheme. The former chief accountant of the administration of the Urozhainovsky rural settlement of the Simferopol district was charged with committing eight episodes, as well as a relative of the head, who submitted personal data and information about a bank account for cashing out finances, with committing one episode of complicity in misappropriation of someone else’s property— noted in the Sledkom.
The criminal activity was detected and suppressed by operational officers of the UEBiPK OMVD of Russia in the Simferopol region in January 2023.
As a result, measures were taken to compensate for the damage caused to the budget of the rural settlement in full. At present, the investigation of the criminal case has been completed.
