In Crimea, the Institute of Archeology collected evidence of the innocence of archaeologist Alexander Butyagin

Alexander Mikhailovich has been working in Crimea since 1998, conducting excavations long before Crimea returned to the Russian Federation. Since 1999, he received special permission to conduct archaeological research in the Crimea. We have collected all the documents, all the factual material, including permits for excavations in Crimea, issued by the Ukrainian side, and will transfer them to the Hermitage.

According to Vadim Maiko, the archives of the Institute of Archeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv contain all the reports on the excavations, which contain information about all the materials obtained during the work.

Earlier Butyagin in the comments RIA Novosti Crimea expressed surprise that at such a difficult time for Ukraine, Kyiv prosecutors are prosecuting archaeologists. He emphasized that continues to do the same thingto whom he dedicated his life, noted that the archaeologists of the expedition regularly donate all their finds to the East Crimean Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve.
