In Crimea, the summer wellness campaign ended

In 328 daytime camps, about 36 thousand children were improved, which is 17 % of the total number of all schoolchildren of Crimea. Also in the summer, 465 thematic sites for recreation and entertainment were opened at the basis of educational institutions and clubs at the place of residence. Another important area is the sanatorium-resort treatment of children.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea has 10 working year-round sanatorium-resort institutions that take young patients. For three summer months, about 7.4 thousand people have adjusted their health there, including over 1 thousand children with disabilities. Treatment is carried out according to various medical profiles: from pediatrics and neurology to traumatology and orthopedics, ”the head of Crimea said.

Sergei Aksyonov added that the development of a recreation system and recovery of children is a key component of state social policy. In the Crimea, they will continue to work on ensuring the availability of summer children’s recreation.
