In Crimea, the volume of financing of support measures for large families amounted to 2.8 billion rubles this year

The regional project provides for a wide range of social support measures, including providing children from large families with free hot meals in educational institutions, one -time payments for the purchase of school uniforms, the right to free travel in public transport, assistance in organizing children’s rest and recovery— the head of Crimea reminded.

Sergei Aksyonov noted that one of the important areas of the project is to assist poor citizens on the basis of a social contract.

Over the eight months of this year, 115 large families have concluded social contracts with the labor and social protection authorities of the republic: 13 — in order to search for work, 10 — for the development of personal subsidiary farm, 17 families were assisted in the acquisition of primary goods, another 75 families decided to start their own business as individual entrepreneurs or self -employed— shared the head of the republic.

In addition, in the current year, 190 large families received land plots in the ownership for free, and 14 were able to purchase housing thanks to state subsidies.

Among other measures to support the regional level are compensation for 50 % of the costs of paying for housing and utilities, which is used by 24.5 thousand large families. Eight thousand families receive state assistance in the form of social benefits.
