It is necessary to inspect bridges for accident risk, whether there are fixed railings, how the pedestrian part is organized, whether reinforcement is needed. Ultimately, our goal is to ensure that no structure poses a hazard to pedestrians or drivers,” explained the Head of the Republic.

Separately, Sergei Aksyonov emphasized the need to put in order the existing bridge across the Salgir River in the village of Beloglinka, Simferopol region. The decision to carry out repair work was made on the basis of appeals received from local residents to the Head of the Republic of Crimea.

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk announced the start of preparatory work on this order. Repairs are scheduled to begin on March 10.
