In Crimea, they intend to strengthen surveillance of destructive messages from young people online
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea has acquired new comprehensive software for more thorough and extensive monitoring of destructive messages by young people on the Internet, committee head Alexey Zinchenko told TASS.
Soon, in the youth center under construction in Simferopol, we will create an office of cyber volunteers to monitor the Internet network in search of unreliable information or that related to the topics of suicide, Columbine, the work of TsIPsO and other destructive messages. Thanks to our victory in the federal competition, we were able to purchase software to automatically search for such potentially dangerous and unreliable information,” he said.
According to Zinchenko, the Republic of Crimea, for 11 years since the peninsula became part of Russia, has been one of the key targets for ill-wishers from Ukraine — a very large amount of false information, primarily aimed at young people, is being distributed on the Internet. All messages and information “traces” left by young people on the Internet are monitored and assessed for real risks. The state committee processes the information revealed jointly with law enforcement agencies and commissions on juvenile affairs.
