In Crimea, veterans of the Great Patriotic War will receive 10 thousand rubles by May 9

Veterans of the Great Patriotic War in Crimea will begin to receive an annual payment by May 9 on April 4, its amount will be 10 thousand rubles. About this on air radio «Sputnik in Crimea» said Deputy Manager of the Branch of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Crimea Lyudmila Pupysheva.

She emphasized that, by decree of the President of Russia, veterans of the Great Patriotic War are paid annually on Victory Day, and this year is no exception — the documents have already been prepared.

Starting from the 4th, our veterans will receive this one-time payment along with the pension and the social benefits that they receive… This payment will be made in the amount of 10 thousand rublessaid Pupysheva.

She clarified that those veterans “who directly took part in the hostilities of the Great Patriotic War” can count on such payments.

If a veteran receives a pension on a bank card, then this payment will come to it. If the pension is received through the Crimean Post, then either the money will be brought to the house along with the pension, or the person will be able to receive it himself by coming to the post office.
