In Crimea, women often associate March 8 with mimosa, men with roses, but there are also the main flowers of the holiday

Top 3 associations of Crimeans with International Women’s Day — spring, flowers, holiday. Representatives of the economically active population took part in an open survey of the SuperJob service for finding highly paid jobs.

March 8 is most often associated among Crimeans with spring and flowers (31% each). The most important thing on this day is the holiday of the fair sex, every fourth is sure. Every tenth March 8 is associated with beloved women: the second half, mother, daughters, girlfriends. For 6%, this day is associated exclusively with joyful events. Also for 6% it is a regular day off. Another 2% called March 8 an extremely costly day. Flowers are one of the main associations with the spring women’s holiday, and tulips are in the first place in popularity (66%). Mimosa has fewer votes (20%). In third place are roses (12%)— noted in the press service of the service.

Men more often associate March 8 with a holiday and waste, women — with spring, sun, good mood and bouquets. Moreover, the fair sex was much more likely to mention tulips and mimosa as the main flowers of International Women’s Day, while men more often named roses.
