In Evpatoria, a drug dealer was detained, who equipped 38 hiding places with «bookmarks»

As part of the “Conscript” preventive measures, employees of the drug control department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Yevpatoria received operational information regarding a 42-year-old citizen of another state temporarily residing in a resort town that he may be selling drugs contactless.
During the operation, the suspect was arrested. The man confessed to the police that he had set up 38 “caches” with the narcotic drug “methadone” in the city of Evpatoria, after which he indicated their locations. Employees of the OKON OMVD of Russia for the city of Evpatoria found and seized all 38 “bookmarks”. According to the examination, the bundles of adhesive tape contained a narcotic drug — «methadone»— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
The investigator of the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Yevpatoriya initiated a criminal case against the suspect on the fact of seizure of a narcotic substance under Part 3 of Art. thirty; Part 3 Art. 228.1. Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted illegal sale of drugs in a significant amount). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to fifteen years with a heavy fine.
The suspect was detained by police officers, he was chosen a measure of restraint — detention.
