We have a water treatment plant project in Evpatoria that has passed the examination. There is support from the Federation Council for its financing. We will now promptly make changes to the design documentation and recalculate the indices (changes in the estimated cost — ed.). There are two lines of 45 thousand cubic meters each. We really hope that in the next year or two we will begin to implement this big projectsaid the head of the department.
The minister added that the reconstruction of the main water pipeline in Evpatoria continues — two lines with a length of 40 kilometers, which supply the entire Evpatoria region with drinking water.
We are currently implementing about five projects – these are different sections of the water pipeline. We use all the tools provided by the state to obtain financing. By 2028, we plan to replace almost one hundred percent of the water pipeline,” Shcheglenko clarified.
He added that this year it is also planned to complete construction and put into operation a water treatment plant in Krasnoperekopsk with a capacity of 15 thousand cubic meters. This will provide quality drinking water to about 45 thousand residents of the Krasnoperekopsk region.
