In February, the single emergency number «112» received more than 57,000 calls from Crimeans

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Sadakliev said that from February 1 to February 28, 57,188 calls were received from Crimeans to the single emergency number “112”. Of these, 6,247 calls were transferred to the ambulance to the number 103, 4,397 calls to the police to 102, 643 calls were forwarded to the number 101, and 409 calls to the number 104, transferred to EDDS — 2,098 calls, consultation — 1399, childish prank — 413.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea reminds that the number 112 can be used to call the following operational services:

• fire department;
• the police;
• emergency medical care;
• gas network emergency service;
• «Antiterror».

A few examples of situations that should be reported immediately by calling 112. These situations include:

• fire;
• the smell of gas at the entrance, on the floor or in the apartment;
• traffic accident;
• domestic violence;
• the crime you witnessed;
• public order disturbance;
• urgent medical care.
