In Feodosia, criminal investigation officers located a 23-year-old local resident who, under the threat of arson, extorted money from his 23-year-old grandmother.

The young man said that he came to his grandmother’s house in a state of intoxication and began to demand 3 000 rubles, explaining that it was necessary to repay the debt. Having received only 200 rubles, he began to threaten that he would set fire to the apartment, forcing the woman to borrow the required amount from her neighbors. At present, the unfortunate grandson has admitted his guilt, repented of his deed and returned other people’s money , — they said in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

According to part 1 of Art. 163 Criminal case initiated by the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The sanction of the article provides for punishment of up to four years in prison.
