The Investigation Department of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Feodosia opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime provided for in paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”). In relation to the previously unconvicted suspect, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of a recognizance not to leave the place.
The perpetrator faces criminal liability. The sanction of this article provides for punishment of up to five years in prison.
