In Feodosia, police detained a suspect in the theft of property from summer cottages

Employees of the criminal investigation department of Feodosia detained a resident of the Leninsky district, who committed thefts of property of citizens from summer cottages.
The police received a statement from a local resident that an unknown person, by damaging the metal lattice of the window, illegally entered the premises of a country house located in the village. Primorsky, from where he secretly stole power tools. The damage amounted to almost 15 thousand rubles.
Later, a local resident contacted the police. The woman reported that an unknown person, having damaged padlocks and windows, entered the premises of outbuildings at her summer cottage, located in the village. Seaside. As a result of operational search activities, a previously convicted 34-year-old resident of the Leninsky district of Crimea was identified and detained. According to the suspect, he sold part of the stolen property to unknown persons, and pawned part of the property in a pawnshop. As a result of a search at the place of residence of the suspect, police officers found and seized part of the stolen property.
According to these facts, the investigative department of the Russian MIA Department for the city of Feodosia initiated criminal cases on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft committed with illegal entry into the premises”). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to 5 years.
